Hamza Malik
I am an MSc Artificial Intelligence student at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. I have completed my coursework and am currently in the thesis phase, working under Prof. Mahdi Taheri in the Reliable and Secure Systems group. My thesis explores agentic AI for electronic design automation, looking at how autonomous agents could coordinate optimization techniques such as neural architecture search, quantization, pruning, and hardware level weight packing under real world constraints like accuracy, memory, and bit width. Before starting my thesis, I worked as an AI Application Engineer at Factful BLN GmbH in Berlin, where I built Python based backend systems and AI powered tools. I also have several years of experience as a software developer, with a background spanning Python, JavaScript, and machine learning pipelines.
