This week marked a milestone for the Reliable and Secure Systems (RSS) group as we hosted our inaugural Research Pitch & Networking Event. Designed to bridge the gap between rigorous technical exchange and community building, the event brought together 36 participants to share their work and refine our collective research vision. The session featured high-energy "speed dating" research pitches, facilitating rapid-fire technical exchanges across our core domains: Reliability & Security Approximate Computing & Neuromorphic Systems Hardware Acceleration AI Model Optimization & Federated Learning The synergy between these fields was immediate, sparking several promising inter-domain collaborations. As RSS continues to grow—currently home to 32 Master’s students, 4 Research Assistants, and a Bachelor intern—we remain committed to fostering an open and visible research environment. A sincere thank you to the students whose contributions made this launch a success. This is just the beginning!
