The Reliable and Secure Systems (RSS) research team was established in 2025, with a focus on advancing the reliability, security, and efficiency of computing systems.

Following the transition of Dr. Mahdi Taheri to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, RSS has maintained its established research identity and continues its activities within the Chair of Reconfigurable Computing at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Dr. Mahdi Taheri is currently a full-time senior researcher at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and maintains a part-time research affiliation with Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).

It also preserves an overview of previous activities, projects, and student contributions undertaken at earlier institutions, while reflecting the team's ongoing and future work.
